As a general rule we use “sleep, creep, and leap” to explain what the plants do each year after we plant. We think of the plants leaping into more of their full size and shape after the 3^rd year of establishment. This series of three connected raingardens was installed just one year ago. We are thrilled to think about what it may look like in another two years.
