The Ecological Gardens Plant Community Database was designed and developed by Paula Westmoreland beginning in 2001 with the purpose of providing the information needed to design sustainable polycultures and guilds for the Upper Midwest. It features over 1400 plants with their characteristics, tolerances, ecological functions, human uses, and companions. We will provide detailed plant and polyculture reports for you to download here.
